In this quarter, the Technopreneur Open Day will focus on Technologies and held in conjunction of Microsoft’s BizSpark Camp.
It is official folks! MAD will officially open on Nov 14. This is an open invitation to the MAD Incubator Open House to celebrate the birth of a new and dynamic incubator for technopreneurs. We will Make a Difference!
MAD and TPM will host the inaugural round of Technopreneur Open Day on 14 November 2009. This idea was conceptualised to help bring more technopreneurs to appreciate the role of incubators in business success. The 14 Nov Tech Open Day will feature an urgent theme: Funding. We are hosting a series of talks focusing on alternative funding such as the ICON grant, Cradle 500, NCDG grant from MCMC and other MIMOS grants. Also looking forward to hear from some technopreneurs who have gotten those grants, sharing with us their secret of successful applying for those grants.
This is a half day event and it is FREE. Please register with Ashley at ashleytan@incubator.com.my
MAD Incubator will be launching the MAD TechIdeas Program on Nov 14 2009, in conjunction with MAD’s Technopreneur Open Day. The idea of this program is to identify good ideas that MAD is able to work with technopreneurs to incubate and crystalise these ideas into successful businesses. The main highlights will be the launch of these ideas during the MAD TechVentures 2010 Conference in June next year.
Areas of interest will be mobile, creative multimedia, SaaS and software. MAD will identify these ideas and enroll the technopreneurs into the MAD BizStart Program which is a comprehensive program to help start-up entrepreneurs develop their business models and business planning. Participating organizations involved in the MAD TechIdeas Program are Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, kPerak Inc and Technology Park Malaysia. More partners are expected to climb on board to make this program successful in view that 2010 is designated as Innovation Year for Malaysia.
